What is Home Care?
Home health care service is non-medical care provided by a trained professional in the client's home. Home care services include custodial care and daily life assistance such as feeding, bathing, and providing medication reminders. There are more specialized services suitable for advanced age and frail individuals, such as medical escorting, and driving. Respite care is also a form of health care and focuses on providing the caregivers temporary relief from their duties.
Advocate Home Care of South Florida employs aides who are professionally trained to provide companionship and maintain a safe environment for the person receiving care. Because our services are non-medical, Advocate Home Care services can be arranged without a physician's order.
